Outcomes vary by kitchen
Each recipe here is written to be as clear and repeatable as a page can make it, but your ingredients, stove, oven, altitude and prior practice with a technique will all shift the outcome a little. Treat the stated times and quantities as a tested starting point, not a guaranteed result.
Safe handling is on you
Recipes that call for raw meat, poultry, eggs, dairy or deep frying carry safety notes — safe internal temperatures, safe storage windows. Those notes are offered in good faith, but checking freshness, cooking meat and poultry to a safe internal temperature, and tossing anything that seems spoiled is your responsibility in your own kitchen.
This site never suggests reusing frying oil unsafely — repeated reheating past its smoke point, blending old oil with fresh indefinitely, or storing used oil the wrong way.
Not a substitute for medical advice
Nothing published here is medical, dietary or nutritional guidance. No calorie counts or nutrition figures are published on this site, and no ingredient is described as treating, preventing or curing any condition. If you manage a food allergy, intolerance or a diet-sensitive condition, check labels carefully and talk to a qualified professional before cooking or eating any dish listed here.
On regional and historical claims
Origin notes and regional context get real research, but kitchen history travels by word of mouth more often than by written record, so some of it stays disputed or incomplete. Where a claim is shaky or contested, this site says so instead of presenting it as fact.
